This is one of three identical hands on sessions about CORD services. Seating in this session is intentionally kept at a certain size so that the core team can provide assistance to all attendees. This same session is being run three times during the event so that people will be able to attend if one of the other sessions is full.
Abstract: This is a hands-on tutorial that gives attendees a chance to develop and on-board a CORD service. Starting with an installed configuration (on a virtual POD), attendees will first explore the deployed dashboards and containers. They will next write a model and synchronizer for a simple VNF, and then walk through the steps required to instantiate the service on the POD. Time permitting, attendees will also make simple modifications to other services running on the POD, working through common development loops in the process.
