This talk will introduce ONF's Trellis, an open-source multi-purpose leaf-spine switching fabric for data-center networking, built using bare-metal (whitebox) switches with support for multiple merchant-silicon ASICs. We will discuss the use of Trellis in CORD, as well as it's use independent of CORD.
