Jay Teborek is Vice President of Marketing for Tibit Communications, Inc., a company focused on innovation in PON architectures and their integration into NFV/SDN infrastructure.  Prior to Tibit, Jay built and directed the global Telecom Business Development Group for Broadcom’s Infrastructure Division.  He came to Broadcom via the 2010 acquisition of Teknovus, where he was a Managing Director in Asia.

For the 10 years prior to Teknovus, he held senior management roles for two telecom infrastructure manufacturers -- Soma Networks and Comverse Network Systems.  In these two companies, he and his teams introduced over 20 new telecom infrastructure solutions. Mr. Teborek held also network planning and software engineering positions with BellSouth International.

Mr. Teborek is involved in digital inclusion projects around the world.  He has advised 5 governments in planning their national broadband infrastructure projects.  He has also served as non-executive Board Director and advisor to Tapestry Ltd., Pty and Stitch Ltd., Pty, both promoting digital and social inclusion for senior citizens.  His graduate-level studies include Computer Science at JHU, and a dual MBA from China’s Tsinghua University and INSEAD in France.
